VegiBread FAQ's

Is VegiBread safe for Coeliacs?

As a Mum with a Coeliac daughter, Louise is well versed with cross contamination.  All of our implements and benches are thoroughly cleaned before cutting and drying vegetables and making flour blends.

All ingredients are gluten free and our sifters, chopping boards, blenders and dehydrators are 100% dedicated gluten free as well.

Can you use an egg replacement?

We have tried with egg replacement powders & flax seed gels without success.

If you find an egg replacement that works please let us know.

How many servings is in a VegiBread sachet?

VegiBread sachets contain a single serving.  As they are so easy to make, it can be ready to go in less than 10 minutes.

Can you toast VegiBread? (Updated Jan 2025)

Previously we have said that VegiBread is unable to be toasted due to the high vegetable count. So although a toaster is out of the question, our customer Belinda has successfully made VegiBread in the microwave, sliced in two, put filling in the middle and placed in a small waffle maker - just like a toastie! Thanks Belinda for letting us know, this is a great discovery.

Can you cook in oven or air fryer?

No, we tried this and it was a disaster.  The bread turned out hard and overcooked.

VegiBread can only be cooked in the microwave.

Can you add anything into VegiBread mix to alter the flavours?

Absolutely!  We have added mashed banana, olives, Parmesan cheese, etc.  You may need to alter the water component especially if you are adding ingredients like fresh banana, etc.

Can you freeze VegiBread?

Yes, you sure can.  We have made and successfully frozen VegiBread up to 5 days.  Just make sure you package well individually.  It only takes a couple of hours to defrost.

VegiBread ordering (including pre orders)

How do I order VegiBread?

Through our Shop page. If you are lucky to secure stock on hand, it will be posted out on our next delivery day (we post 2-3 times weekly).

You can also pre order or if that is exhausted, you can sign up to our email newsletter and be on our priority list.

How does "pre order" work?

We have a limited monthly pre order quantity on all of our VegiBread.  Once you have placed an order, it will be made within 3 weeks.  We will communicate with you so you will know when your order has been posted.

What happens if both stock on hand and pre ordering is exhausted?

Sign up to our email newsletter on our home page.. Make sure you tick box and include your contact number and you will be the first to know when new stock is released. We email/text our priority list 48 hours before placing on our socials.

Why do you have limited stock?

Our unique bread mix process takes considerable time dehydrating, conditioning, mixing and packaging. For us, it is time-intensive, but this attention to detail is what sets us apart.

This means we can only make so many batches per week.

Month on month we have increased both stock on hand and pre ordering quantities, we hope to continue doing so in 2025.
